Granted, it doesn't have too many explanations for the Mad Day Out The Beatles had that day, but it's full of beautiful pictures (some really known through magazines and the Internetbut some are completely unknown). In almost chronological order, you can see the band having a lot of fun as if world pressure didn't exist in their lives at the timePaul not trying his best to pose for camera? Sure. George wearing John's glasses? You got it. John placing him first with a groovy look with the backup band he created to amaze the world? It's all here folks. Excellent! A Day in the Life of The Beatles This book captures some great photos of the day. Many I have never seen before (even on dedicated Mad Day Out websites) It is a shame that they didnt include all of the photos, I guess like most things they will drag these out into mutliple editions with photos included

A great book A Day in the Life of The Beatles Got this book today and it's a must have for anyone who collects Beatles books, especially those that focus on photos. Every shot in this book comes from the famous July 28th 1968 shoot that saw the Beatles go to various spots around London. Some of the shots are easily familiar, others help to fill in the gaps of what took place that day.

My favorite shot? It's on pages 122/123 and it shows the Beatles with their heads resting on each other while Macca stands in the center with his eyes closed as if he was wishing that it would go on forever. Six months later it was all coming apart.
